My name is important to me. My reputation tells others (and myself) who I am. I'm not what I say I am - I am my actions. I won't change my behavior just to please others, but I have standards that I seek to uphold. When I fall short, I disappoint my loved ones, my community, and myself.
I don't care what anyone thinks of me.
To me, reputation doesn't matter, to an extent. I don't care what people think about me, but obviously it can go past a certain point. To other people reputation matters way too much. I hate lake shore and I have no one to impress, so why would I care what anyone thinks. Reputation doesn't get you anywhere in life, though it may hold you back if negative, so I don't really worry about it. That's why reputation doesn't matter to me
Reputation is important to me because with out it, someone you look up to could change their morals at random from being that hero figure into something horrible. I think you can change reputation when you brake a moral law of yours that you almost always follow. I do not remember if my reputation has changed or not. i dont know if i have changed any ones reputation either. have a good day :>
Reputation is who people think you are, and character is who you are when nobody is looking. Both are critically important to me. Reputation is important because it is the basis of all consideration afforded to you in life. If you have a bad reputation: you will not be offered jobs, promotions, or advancements. Your input, your feelings, and your approval will not be considered to have any value if your reputation is poor. It only takes only one bad look on your name to damage years of honor and respect. If your "Character" is good, and you work to maintain integrity throughout your life, your reputation will remain beyond reproach.
I have never really given much of a thought as to what people think of me. I guess I would like to think I have a good reputation. To me, reputation is really just another way for people to judge you so I try not to care too much about it and I don't think it's really all that important. Reputation is based on the stuff you do, well, usually when you do one wrong thing, all of the good is forgotten about so no matter how hard you tried before if you slip once you're pretty much done for with your reputation. I've never had my reputation changed nor have I ever changed the reputation of another. That's how I feel about reputation.
Reputation means nothing to me. It means nothing to me because i don't need to have a reputation. If you have a reputation that means you have to have attention a lot. So, my response to reputation is that as long as you have your friends and that your close with friends and family then you won't need a reputation. In the end, just make sure you remember who your real friends are.
Honestly I can care less about reputation now because school is much more important then reputation. But later in life you will want reputation. Reputation has change much, lots of kids are bullying other kids that have bad reputation and so on. I personally can care less about reputation as i cited in the beginning. My reputation has never changed. I have never changed no ones rep.
Reputation to me is something many people around my age take too seriously in the wrong ways. It's important to be creditable and constant in what you do in the real world, but in a school setting reputation is of no importance. Pointless, misleading information goes around this school day in and day out that will mean nothing five years from now. It's all a waste of stress and time, in all honesty. There's too many other important things to be thinking about then gossip and the thoughts of others towards me, especially in a high school setting.
Reputation is how people view you even if they don’t know you. To me, reputation is not that important because being popular is not the most important thing in the world. Reputation is changed when you do something major that everyone will remember or when someone more popular than you hangs out with or around you. I don’t personally care about reputation because it has never really changed the things I do or I how I act. My reputation has never really changed. I’m pretty sure that I have never changed the reputation of anyone else.
To me, reputation really doesn't mean much at all. I don't really care what people think of me, because the opinions of others really doesn't matter. Though I don't find reputation important at all, some people do, and that's fine. Whatever makes them happy. Thinking too heavily on the thoughts of others just doesn't appeal to me. I haven't ever changed anyone's reputation, because I don't really think that's something I could change for someone.
Reputation is somewhat of an importance to me. In general reputation is probably important to most people. Your apperance, grades or people you hang out with can change yours and others reputation. Of course my reputatation has changed, it changes every day. And no, I have not changed my reputation for other people either..If you have a reputation that means you have to have attention a lot. Which honestly I don't really care about. I'm pretty satisfied with my reputation.
Reputaion is important to a dagree it matters only in work life but in personale life it's better to be yourself and not care about street reputation. My own reputation has not changed from this it may or may not.Personly I care about reputation to a point I mean if I have to change who I am I will not change myself. My reputaion has only changed at one point in my life but that was from dating this one girl that everyone disliked so in turn in lowerd my reputation a bit.The only time I can recall changing someones reputation was when I exposed someone as a bully. Those are my thoughts on the subject of reputation.
Reputation means what someone thinks of you. Reputation is important to me because I don’t want someone to think of me badly. If you have a bad reputation people won't look at you with as much respect as if you were to have a good reputation. People with good reputations have a better chance at things. Your reputation can be changed by one thing you do. If you do one thing wrong compared to all the good things you did, you have a bad reputation. I care about my reputation. I don’t want people thinking of me negatively. I don't think my reputation has ever been changed and i don't think I've changed anyone's reputation.
In life, you are who you are. You should not have to change just because someone wants you to. Therefore, I don’t think reputation is very important. I really don’t care what people think of me. I won’t change for someone if they want me to because I am who I am. With that being said, my reputation is not important to me whether I’m in school, at my house, or even in my community.
Reputation doesn't mean anything to me. It doesn't mean anything to me because I don't need one. I think people could use your reputation to judge you on your bad or maybe good things you've done. Reputation probably doesn't mean as much to me as it does other people because I don't care what people think of me. I have never had my reputation changed or changed anyone else.
Reputation matters to me to an extent. I don't want people to look at me as a bad person. I want everyone to see that I'm a outgoing fun loving person. But I also understand that not everyone is going to like me. I feel that "your reputation" carries on with you for the rest of your life. Everyone is known for something. I try not to let others influence me and the decisions I do. At the end of the day reputation does not really matter to me. As long as I surround myself with good friends and my family I'm happy.
Reputation is important but I personally don't care about it. Reputation is like judging someone: it could be false. You need a good reputation to avoid that but you should also just ignore what everyone thinks about you. You shouldn't have to worry about who you are but in reality, you have to because of reputation. If you're reputation is bad, you're not going to be able to escape it until someone else's reputation is worse. I believe reputation is important in order to have a stable and happy life but it's something that shouldn't bother you if someone's got the wrong idea.
Reputation is a subjective concept. Everyone seems to care so much about what they do or say or who they’re seen with. They try to make themselves into someone they’re not all for the sake of the approval of a few strangers. To me, I think reputation is only important for certain aspects of my life. For instance, I want my teachers to know that I have a reputation for doing my work on time and behaving in class. I want potential employers to know that I have a reputation for being on time and for working hard. However, I don’t believe my reputation is important amongst my peers because what I’m known for is not their business.
Reputation, the big thing that runs high school, jobs, friendships, and your life. Reputation is such a big part of your life, it determines how successful you are, how many friends you have, and what people you fit in with. This is how I see it, YOLO. Personally if you don't like me then thats not my problem. Therefore I am very outgoing, kinda crazy, and at times obnoxious. But thats just how I am, thats my reputation. If you can live a life where you don't care what others think or what reputation you have I tend to believe your life will be happier and easier if you do things your way! Remember to always Yolo swag!
I feel like reputation doesn't matter. You might have a reputation good or bad but you shouldn't care about what others think. I don't want to change other people's reputations because that's like changing who someone is. Other people shouldn't care about other people's reputation because you shouldn't base a friendship or just a person off of something you heard about them, you should base it off of you actually trying to hangout with them and see if there reputation is what other people is. All in all you shouldn't judge by reputation or care what others think.
Reputation means a lot to me. People respect you more when you have a good reputation. Having a good reputation is important because it can help you when you are finding a job and people are nicer to you when they know you are a good person and don’t get in a lot of trouble. It only takes one big mistake to ruin your whole reputation. Having a good reputation and staying out of trouble will make your life easier as you get older.
To me, reputation is necessary to succeed. You can still not care what people think about you and win, but it's easier if you have a good reputation. whether it's for a job or getting further in life outside of school or work, a good reputation in town will always help you while a bad one will usually only hurt you. So in a professional sense, reputation is important and in any other matter, a good reputation never hurts. But if having a good reputation means not being someone you aren't, then just be who you are instead. you'll be better off if you do.
In my opinion, reputation is how others look at you, how they seem to know all about you even if they don't. Reputation isn't important, some people think the entire world is being popular even though one day your popularity in high school will mean absolutely nothing. Reputation can be changed by a number of things. How society looks at you, the people that you hang out with, how well you do in school, and how many people like you. I, personally couldn't care less about what people think of me. Just because I am friends with someone who doesn't do well in school, doesn't affect my well being. I don't believe, nor do I care if my reputation has ever been changed. I also don't believe that I've ever changed anybody else's reputation. I don't influence others, everybody is their own person, and I also believe that everybody should just get along and accept others as they are. The world would be such a spectacular place if this occurred. Imagine living in a world where we all accepted others as they are because every individual is special in their own way.
I dont think reputation is very important. Reputation does not matter in life until you have a bad one. When you give yourself a bad reputation then it could mess things up for you in the future. So pretty much as long as you be yourself and dont do stupid things you wont have to worry about reputation in life. Most people will care what people think of them and they really care about there reputation but thoes people arent really themselves they just do what other people like and not what they want to do. That is my opinion on reputation.
I believe that reputation matters to everyone, to an extent. I wouldn’t say though that my reputation matters that much to me though. Your reputation could cause a problem for you though, especially if you are known to do a lot of bad things. Your reputation is a bit important if you want to succeed though, for example, if you are known to be lazy and stupid, you might not get the job. So, although I don’t personally care all too much about reputation, it is necessary for us to keep our reputation good.
Reputation is all about who people think you are. It is about your overall appearence and how other people look at you. I think people should care about what people think of them to a certain extent. Many things could change your reputation so I think people should think about what they do or what they say around certain people. No one wants to be known as a bad person, but reputation can turn all that around. To me I care about my reputation to an extent because I do know not everybody is going to like me. Reputation plays a huge role in your life and I think you should care that this somehow can hurt your life.
Reputation in general doesn't matter unless your going for a job and sometimes it can cost you your friends. But if your friends leave you because of your reputation then they were never your friend because if it was a true friend than it wouldn't matter. Reputation is changed by a mistake you could've made or by someone else. I personally don't care about reputation because it doesn't matter. My reputation has never been changed.and I've never changed someone else's
I think reputation matters a lot to me. When you have a bad reputation you could lose trust from others and respect. When having a good reputation it could help you get somewhere in life, like having a job. if you had a bad reputation you possibly could not get A job. It does not take very much to ruin your reputation. i think if you just be yourself you will be fine in the long run.
Reputation to me personally isn't very important. On the other hand over the years I've noticed how important it is to my peers and how much they allow it to effect their lives on a daily basis. Reputation has changed a lot as we have changed a lot as we have matured. I have never changed my opinion of anyone because of their reputation but I believe mine has changed from elementary to high school. In elementary I was very outgoing in class as now in high school I tend to be very shy. I personally don't care about my reputation much although I am trying to become less shy and more outgoing in school as I am outside of school. With that being said I would like to change for my own personal benefit so I can enjoy class assignments more. In the end reputation does not define who you are.
Reputation matters to me to an extent, but for the most part I don't really care, unless it turns into a bad one. Because then everyone will look down on you, and you might loose some friends. But as long as you don't do dumb things, reputation dosen't really play a big part in life, and can be ignored. However there are some people who will do absolutely anything for a good reputation, even if they don't want to. Then there are some people who don't care completely, but in the end its your choice. That is my opinion on the subject.
To me, reputation is important to me to a certain degree. I wouldn't want to be known as the girl that gets around Lake Shore. Most people care a lot about there reputation & what others think of them, but those people are the ones that change because someone else wants them to
To me, reputation is very important. I care a lot about my reputation because I don't want people thinking I am a horrible person, or have people talk badly about me behind my back. Reputation can be changed for the good or for the bad. Whether it is if you stole someones boyfriend or helped someone i need, people are going to look at you differently. Although I do care about my reputation, people are going to judge you no matter what your past is, so just be yourself and do what makes you truly happy.
Reputation is not the most important thing in life. Reputation can change by the way you dress, act or the people you hangout with. Reputation doesn't matter that much to me, it can at times but not very often.
I think reputation is important to people who life is almost based around what other people think of them. People care a lot of what other people think instead of just being themselves. Reputation changed when this generation became obsessed with having the best of everything and started thinking how much something costs is important, I care somewhat what other people think of me but not enough to change anything about myself. If I change its for me not other people. I've never changed anyones reputation that I know of.
I personally dont care about reputation. Reputation to me isn't important to me because why should anyway care about what people think about themselves. In the long-run, no one is going to care about my reputation, and it's good to be yourself. Being yourself is what makes "life", life. That is why I do not care about reputation.
To me, I care about reputation to a certain extent. At first I always used to care about repuation. When I first started high school I decided to hangout with the wrong people and also when I first got my wig, everyone started rumors about me. My reputation was ruined.I wanted to "impress" everyone and have a good outcome on myself. I think reputation is just another word for attention. People do like others who have a good reputation rather than ones who are troublemakers. You have to remember that everyone is different and unique and you're always going to get that one person who gets in trouble all the time so people will remember that or that one person who always is on task and does nothing wrong which are the people who others want to be around because thats what they hear about that person. By looking at the world now, I could care less about my repuation. If i get caught doing something bad, then I do. Everyone makes mistakes. Why do people care so much about your reputation anyway? It's not their business. Of course my reputation has changed, but its made me the person I am today. So whatever people hear about me now is who I truly am. I want people to know that I am true to myself and I treat others with respect. I won't judge someone on what other people hear. You are you and you shouldn't care what other people think about you because being yourself is better than changing for someone else to fit their standards.
Reputation can be different for everyone. A lot of people don’t care about their reputation and a lot of people do. I personally care about my reputation at times but at other times I don’t. I want people to think of me as a good person. I think a good reputation can get you farther in life and get you a better job. At the same time, I think that people should be able to be themselves and not have to worry about other people judging them.
Reputation is not a very big deal to me. Sure its great to have a good reputation, but if i don't, then o well. I am who i am and if others judge me, it's there fault form being judgmental. So people are obsessed about a good reputation, and take it too far and turn into bad people. I am relaxed, and just go with the flow, making friends as i go. My true friends will think i have a great reputation no matter what.
Reputation Dosent really matter as long as you be your self and don't do something to ruen your reputation then you will be good.. But if Does get ruined then is could go bad for you in the future. But it's all on how you set your reputation.. It's in how you act and how you are around people not about what other people say you act like ! But that what I think about reputation
My reputation is important to me. I represent our school and that is important and you want to leave a good mark on your name. You have to think about what you're saying or doing before you do it because people are always watching you. If you have a good reputation you can go somewhere with your life and people will usually like you. If you're applying for a job somewhere and people hear good things about you, they will want to hire you.
Reputation doesnt really matter than me bacause you make mistakes and how people react to what happened doesnt matter even if i dont care it could ruin your future if people look into your past when your geting a job and dont like it then your reputation could ruin the job that you wish to get.
Reputation to me means quite a bit. I care what people think of me, but then again I don't. Reputation is changed when people do something bad and it spreads around. Another way reputation is changed is by other people gossiping about your life, and almost all gossips aren't true. So don't believe them. I personally do care about my reputation because I was bullied a lot going through school, and I still am but it's not as bad. So yeah when people talk about me I get upset but I keep my head high and keep going. :) My reputation has been changed but like I said I just pick my head up and keep going. I probably have changed another's reputation but not on purpose. I would never to that to someone because it hurts to have yourself knocked down, and I know what it feels like to be pushed down.
to me reputation doesn't really mean anything. a reputation to me is nothing but how other people think about you. reputation is like when allot of people know you and how you think. allot of people freak out about there reputation. You can actually set your own reputation by how you act and the things that you do. me personally I think a good reputation can get you farther in life and get you a better job because you are known by allot more people. but that's what I think of reputation as.
Reputation is not a very important thing. You can have a good or bad reputation but all the really matters is how you see yourself. Then again you wouldn't want to have a bad reputation of being something your not but then again you can just ignore what other people think and just work on what you think of you. To me reputation is not a big deal, of course it's annoying when others accuse you of things and spread word about you to give you a bad reputation but it's not the end of the world and as long as you see yourself as a good person your fine. I don't believe I've ever been the reason for someone else's reputation and if I wasn't aware if it. But all in all reputation is just what others see you as, which isn't very important as long as your content with yourself.
Reputation, to me, is only important in certain aspects of my life. School is a major area where it is important to me. I want my teachers to know that I'm a good worker and that I get my work done. Reputation can be changed by yourself or other people. Others can persuade you to do things that can give you a bad reputation or you can make that decision. Personally, I've never had my reputation changed and I don't intend it to ever change. I don't care about my reputation outside of school as i don't feel that it matters too much. So, I just act myself and don't care what people think of me.
To me, reputation is how people view you whether they know you or not. I personally don't care about how people see me but if they see me in a bad way because of something that is not true or a rumor, that will piss me off. There are too many people that care way too much about that kind of stuff and get distracted from school and get bad grades, but those are going to be the people handing you your morning coffee at McDonalds.
I don’t think reputation is too important. I obviously want people to like me but I’m not going to go out of my way to get them to like me. I mean if you don’t like me that’s not my problem. Plus people could use it to judge you. To some people reputation is everything to them and to others well, they couldn’t care less and that’s okay but this is my opinion. Sure when it comes to getting into collage or a good job it’s better to have a good reputation.
I think reputation is very important. Reputation decides how people see you. If you have a good reputation, more people will want to hire you for a good job, or want you at their college. If you have a bad reputation, less people will want you around. Personally, reputation is important to me. My life goals include a great college and a good paying job. Someone's rep can be changed easily, whether it's a terrible decision you made or something you accomplished that was a proud moment in your life. My reputation has been changed, because you make mistakes but you also make good decisions. I'm sure I have also changed the reputation of another positively, whether it was a project we received an A on or an out of school activity I helped someone with. All in all, reputation can make a big difference.
Reputation is something can ruin or make everything better. I personally care about my reputation. I want a good reputation because it is something that people use to know if you are a good person or not someone to be trusted. Another reason is that your reputation can go with you to college and even your career path. It is also important that you maintain that reputation because if someone says you can be trusted but it seems like you cant it can affect your life. So yes, reputation is important.
Everyone has a reputation, Whether it's good or bad. To me, having a good reputation means a lot because it's usually what people think about you. My reputation is an average girl, somewhat smart and average looking. A good reputation means a lot to me because it doesn't feel good when you're judged in a bad way. Reputation is what people think about you, and how they judge you. It is important. That is what reputation means to me.
The way I look at reputation describes it all in one quote “ Character is like a tree and reputation is like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing. ~ Abraham Lincoln
My reputation is some what important to me, I do not care of what people think they know about me unless they truly know me. The way people think of me, whether they think I’m nice or mean, does matter to me because I want to be a good person.
Ever since middle school my reputation means a lot to me. But since i started high school i really shouldn't change the way i am to fit to other people. People think i am the whiner or the crier, which i will admit i am sometimes. But people don't know the real me. I am a hardworking athlete who has to live with diabetes and i don't want people to feel sorry for me just because i have that. I always think about people don't judge a book by its cover. Just because people are thin, fat, or may just not appeal to you. Doesn't mean you should automatically think wrong of them. That is what reputation means to me.
Reputation is how you appear to other people and decides how they treat you. I think it is good to have a good reputation in today's society because it is what can get you a better job and promotions. A good reputation will get you a lot farther in life than if you treat people poorly and are ignorant. Building a bad reputation for yourself such as posting inappropriate picture on Facebook will hurt you chances of getting hired, it could get you fired, and people would think poorly of you. Overall, I believe your reputation is a very important thing in life.
Reputation isn’t what you do, but what people perceive you do. It is what people think of you, what they think you’ve done and or say. Rumors and gossip are the only thing that create a reputation. So, if you do not care what people think of you and just want to be who you are, you won’t care for your reputation. I am one of these people, who don’t take what others think personally, my reputation is something I care nothing about. But most do care what people think and thus care for their reputations.
To be honest, reputation isn't that important. I used to care about it a lot though. I always worried about what people thought about me but I don't anymore. Iv'e made mistakes, yeah. Everyone has. You are you, though. You are what you do, what you say, what happens. If someone judges you for what you did and people say things, just ignore it. You learn from everything and it's just life. Some people make a big deal out of it though. Just calm down and just go with the flow. Don't worry about what everyone is saying or calling you. The only thing matters is who you think you are and that you're a good person, no matter what.
Reputations are really just what other people think of you. A person shouldn't have to go through life caring about what others think of them. The only opinion that matters is yours. In my mind, reputation isn't important. If your contempt with who you are then your "reputation should not matter. What gives anyone the right to judge you? Nothing does, don't let those "reputation makers'' make who you are. Why does it matter what others think? It doesn't matter, what your reputation says about you, what your friends say about you, or what your family says about you as long as in your mind you are perfect.
Reputation to me is just some way to judge someone. It is not that big of a deal, if you have a nice personality and you're a good person who does great things, then that's fine by me. Having a good reputation might get you noticed, but that's it. As soon as you establish who you are, then you can forget reputation. That is my opinion on reputation and why it doesn't really matter to me.
To me reputation does matter. You don't want to be some guy who everyone hates, you want to be someone who's outgoing, comical, and just that one person everyone loves. You don't want to be a guy who everyone talks behind your back about how mean or immature you are. It's your reputation, it all just depends on how you look to other people.
In general, reputation usually means a lot to teens and actually just a lot of people. Having a certain reputation is what people strive for, and usually this certain reputation is something good. Reputations are changed all the time because of rumors and mistakes and choices. Personally, having a good reputation is something I would like, but I know my life would not be over if my reputation didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to.
To me reputation doesn't really mean anything. I personally don't care what other people think of me so it doesn't matter. Some people rely on reputation way too much. They should just be themselves and not care about what other people think about them. Reputation changes through other people too. Some one could say something about you and then rumors could spread and then you end up with a bad reputation. You could try to change it by doing good things if you really wanted to change it. So those are my thoughts on reputation.
Reputation. I believe that many people have grown used to saying that they don't care what others think of them, and maybe there are people out there who are lucky enough to say that truthfully. I do care what my coaches, teachers, and family think of me. I want them to see me for the hardworking and kind person I've always craved to be. But as of my fellow students, I could care less. I should have freedom to dress, say, and do whatever I want (unless it's illegal, mean, etc.), and not because it makes other people happy but because it brings joy to me. In my personal opinion we're all equal, so why should people in my own age group have the power to make me feel terrible? So my plan is to enjoy and perfect my life while it lasts, and forever refuse to let anyone rain on my parade.
Reputation in my opinion doesn't matter to me because I usually just do what I need to do. All though sometimes I in joy making people laugh and smile. Sometimes my teachers get mad at me for making jokes and talking but it still doesn't matter because all that counts is making someone smile. In the end reputation means a lot of things to a lot of people and I just think that it doesn't really matter to me. P.s. Sorry for being late
I really do not care about reputation. because i only worry about what a few people think about me and that is my friends and i mean my true friends not my friends that will go hey whats up every once and a while. i mean the people that i hang out with and am always with. but i do like to have a good reputation i don't like to be known as just that kid i like to be known by Matthew. There are many different reputations. there are nerds the popular kids the athletes the stoners. i would say i am in athletes.most my friends are either popular or athletes. i like hanging around with other athletes because i love playing sports and they do to.
Reputation matters to me because it shows people who I am. If you have a good reputation people look up to you and think of what a great person you are. If you have a bad reputation everyone will look at you with disgust and will not think you are a good person, even if you are. Personally though I feel like reputation should not matter, but it does. What should matter is how you treat yourself and others. That being, reputation does matter therefore everyone should try to keep a good one.
